FAQ
How is this different from other trade journals?
Most trackers just log what happened. Frequency Tracker tracks the psychology behind it too — you tag your emotional state, follow your own custom rules, and see the real dollar cost of revenge trading, FOMO, and broken discipline. Not just your P&L.
What instruments does it support?
Currently ES, MES, NQ, MNQ, YM, MYM, RTY, M2K, GC, MGC, SI, SIL, CL, and MCL. Support for additional instruments is in development.
What trading platforms does it support?
Frequency Tracker currently integrates with NinjaTrader. If you'd like support for another trading platform, just reach out to us—we're actively expanding compatibility and would love to hear what you're using.
Mac or Windows?
Both. Frequency Tracker is a native desktop app available on Mac and Windows.
Why does my computer show a security warning when installing?
Frequency Tracker is safe to install. We are currently in the process of obtaining code signing certification, which will eliminate this warning in a future update. On Windows, click "More Info" then "Run Anyway." On Mac, run the included install command before opening the app for the first time.
How does trade import work?
Import your trades directly from NinjaTrader. No manual entry required — your executions pull in automatically.
I'm currently using another tracking tool. Can I switch?
Yes. We currently have a built-in CSV import for Tradervue so you can bring your full trade history over in one click. Support for additional platforms is in development — if you want yours added, just reach out and we'll build it.
What if there's a feature I need that isn't there yet?
Frequency Tracker was built because the tools we needed didn't exist. So when you request a feature, we take it seriously — drop it in the Feature Requests channel in the community and it goes straight onto our radar. This software is built around what traders actually need, not what looks good on a feature list.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Month-to-month, no contracts. Cancel whenever you want from your account settings.
